The IE Lab, in partnership with the MU School of Nursing, has completed two phases of the Tiger Place evaluation. The project involves assessing the Sensor Data Interface that is used to monitor Tiger Place residents across a period of time. The first phase of the study involved an Heuristic review of the interface with a checklist of 16 heuristic criteria. The second phase involved think aloud sessions with five tiger place residents. The other phases of the study will involve think aloud sessions with the resident family members and nurses. The study is going to help assess the usefulness of sensor data technology and its presentation in the most understandable format to the common users.
