The IE Lab is hosting the Usability Conference November 14th-15th to celebrate ten years of the IE Lab. By providing guidance, feedback, and designs to improve client tools, we have emerged as a resource for standard practice and research at the University of Missouri and other organizations in the state of Missouri.
The conference will feature Dr. Catherine Plaisant, Associate Director of Research at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies, Wilkey Wong, the Director of Knowledge Services at Tobii Technology, Inc. and Dr. Karl Kochendorfer, Chief Health Information Officer, Assistant Vice President for Health Affairs, and Associate Professor in Clinical Family Medicine, University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System. Along with those featured presentations, there are several other scheduled panels on usability research in the fields of health and education, novel technology and methods in usability evaluation, a poster session with case studies of usability evaluation projects conducted at the IE Lab, and interactive activities for participants in usability-related exercises using innovative technology.
The Conference is free and open to the public.
