IE Lab team presented at the Cerner Health Conference

Team members from the Information Experience Lab presented at the 2011 Cerner Health Conference. Neeley Current, Andrew Tawfik, and Dr. Jeff Belden lead a round table about the development of mobile applications in medical contexts (also on the panel was Tiger Institute software engineer Justin Yesis) . Specifically, the team spoke about how a user-centered and collaborative model helps to gather usability research that serves to guide the software development process. Throughout the three-day conference, the IE Lab also operated a booth where team members spoke to associates about the importance of usability and interface design in health informatics.
